# War with Iran, the Planetary Phase Shift and Global System Paralysis

The Middle East crisis is rapidly spiralling out of control. Conventional analysts have failed to understand its global systemic drivers and its potentially catastrophic consequences on a global system scale. Using the lens of the planetary phase shift framework, however, helps us to recognise the unfolding conflict across Israel, Gaza, Lebanon and Iran as not just a regional breakdown, but a global systemic rupture in the context of the _planetary phase shift_ as industrial civilisation moves through the last stages of its life-cycle. Understanding this moment through a systems lens is therefore crucial to avoid the imminent risk of global synchronous failure - which could lead to paralysis and collapse in a manner that derails emerging possibilities of systemic transformation.
